Company teams are made up of our most dedicated and skilled dancers. These individuals are recommended by instructors and have demonstrated strong commitment and growth through recreational and Company Intro classes.
Auditions are open to dancers with two to three years of jazz and ballet experience, along with a solid foundation in technique.
A consistent commitment to improving each week is essential.
All dancers who meet the requirements will be placed on a team.
During August workshops, dancers are grouped based on age and technical ability to ensure the best fit.
Company teams focus on strengthening technique, learning choreography, and competing. Ballet and technical training are emphasized as the foundation for jazz and hip-hop.
A successful season depends on dedication, consistent attendance, and a positive attitude from both dancers and their families.
Before this placement workshop we will hold a parent meeting to go over all costs, requirements and specifics that are associated with the program. Once placed on a team, the student will receive their set class schedule, uniform schedule, etc.
Once placed on a team, a copy of your dancer’s schedule will be emailed to you.
Practices include ballet, technique, and routine work. Dancers will train in jazz, contemporary or lyrical, and hip hop.
Attendance at every practice is required. Absences for family vacations, parties, or extended holidays must be pre-arranged and approved at least 30 days in advance. Absences due to illness must also be approved. Excessive absences are not permitted and may result in dismissal from the team, regardless of fees paid or owed.
Practices are held two days per week, with each session lasting 2–3 hours. Company dancers are required to train a minimum of 5 hours per week, though additional classes are strongly encouraged to support growth and improvement.
